top, our Stayfast Convertible Top is triple layer, waterproof and long
lasting. The Haartz Stayfast material is an acrylic based material and
does not fade, shrink, rot, mildew or otherwise deteriorate with exposure
to the elements. Rolled binding, outstanding workmanship and quality plus
the same type cloth material that you see on Mercedes SL's, the
Ferrari F340 Spider and other ultra-luxury cars is the same material we use for your Fiat Spider! Why pay more for a vinyl top or hundreds of dollars more
elsewhere for "their" canvas tops when the luxury of Haartz Stayfast can be

NOTE: For 1979 Spider
owners, before ordering your top please check the corners of the
front top bow. Some early 1979 cars use the 124CS1 type bow with pointed front corners
(photo at left) versus the later 124CS2 type (rounded corners,
picture at the right).
Vinyl Convertible Top -
Even at our low price, a Stayfast top can be beyond the budget of some
Spider owners, so our vinyl top is just what you need!
Made with the same workmanship and quality as our canvas tops, our vinyl top differs only in the material used. The vinyl is the highest quality available and features the original style
"pin point" pattern that came on the Spider when new. Available in
black or tan exterior with black underside. Includes Factory installation instructions.

- 1982 Convertible Top "Boot"
- All Fiat Spiders originally came with a vinyl top boot that covered
the convertible top when down, but today most have either been lost or
in such bad shape they just aren't usable any more. The top boot will
not only add handsomely to your Spider's looks (we feel it's the single
biggest improvement in looks that you can make with the top down) but it
also protects the retracted top from sun, wind, stains and other
nuisances. Available in beige or black.
NOTE: The boot does not come with mounting hardware. If you have an old boot you can re-use your existing hardware. For a new installation see the mounting hardware kit below.

1968-1982 Hardware Mounting Kit - If you need new boot mounting hardware, this is it. A left and right front plastic hook and the left and right rear metal brackets.
1983 - 1985 Pininfarina Convertible Top Boot - All Pininfarina Spiders originally came with a vinyl top boot that covered the convertible top when down, but today most have either been lost or in such bad shape they just aren't usable any more. Carpeting Kit - Our Carpeting Kit is either a great way to start on or to provide the finishing touch to your restoration! This quality carpet is 100% nylon to muffle noise and provide a long life. Our Kit follows the exact floor dimensions for a perfect fit and is finished with color coordinated heel scuff pad, thread and binding. Available in either long-wearing loop or beautiful cut-pile and in several colors: black, biscuit (tan), dark brown, burgundy-red, maroon, light blue or dark blue.NOTE: Carpet kits are custom made to your carpet style and color choice. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks to manufacture.
